Angelic Pretty Fancy Paper Dolls Lolita Coord

Ohh I always take my time when I write blog posts, uni is keeping me quite busy~

Anyways~
Some time ago we had a private tea party with some fellow lolitas. I had to prepare a bit more serious coord. Again I went with a pink and black look.

Jsk: Angelic Pretty Fancy Paper Dolls
Shirt: Bodyline
Shoes: Bodyline (sorry for no photo)
Bag: I got it from ebay
Accessories: Handmade

I also did my own make up and hair. I got most of my make-up including eyelashes at a local strore. I also used GEO Angel Blue lenses that I bought at Eye Candys.

Enjoy~

Nymph photoshot

I know I already shared this look with you but I never shared the photos we did with it. Sadly I do not have those photos so we made some new.

We drove to a nearby forest after the rain stopped. The location was magical and I really felt like a nymph.

This was one of my favourite shots~

Enjoy~

Concerts and fashion

Well around two weeks ago I was working as press at a Japanese concert. And I must say it was really really amazing.

I made some nice shots, had fun with the people there and listened to some good music.

But there were also some really great people in various fashion styles. I just couldn't resist and took some photos.

Lolita with an edge?

Well today we actually had a small Japanese themed festival not too far away from where I live. So of course I had to join in. The bad weather kinda ruined the whole festival/picnic idea because the event had to be moved inside.

But the bad weather did not only interfeer with the event location, but also with my planned lolita coordinate. It was too cold to wear the coord that I've already prepared in advance and since my other resurces were limited I had to improvize.

I just moved and the only warm thing I had was a black male hoodie, so I had to build the coord from that.

I also restrained myself from using brand dresses since the weather was really bad, and the event was in a park where everything was muddy because of the rain.

Anyways...

I wore my AP Milky-chan replica that I got really cheap from second hand sales on fb. The shoes are from Bodyline and I made the accessories myself.

I also had a fast photoshoot and it was really really fun. Here are some shots, I hope you will like them:

I like it how I was put in a quite strange location for a lolita photoshoot, but the hoodie and cap made it work really great.

I hope you enjoyed reading~

Self image

Here is a shot that I recived today and I really wanted to share it with you guys. It left a great impact on me and hope you will feel the same~

Before you start complaining that I am out of focus in both real presence and reflection I should share with you why that exact "mistake" made me love this photo so much.

Every morning I sit in front on the mirror and I look at myself, I think about the things I need to change about myself, improve if you want... I put on a mask and I think how life would be if I were someone else.

Many of us try to be or become someone else, someone that we are not and sometimes I feel like I get lost in this process. I feel like I am not myself anymore, but at the same time I am not the person I want to be.

A lot of time we get lost and our self image gets blurred. We tend to hate ourselves and sometimes we even forget who we really are.

You should not hate yourself and you should definitely not forget who you really are. Why?

Because being yourself will truly make you beautiful.

Outfit post

There are less and less things in my apartment with each day passing by. I will have to post some photos of my new apartment soon. :3

Well it is getting warmer, spring is here...

Today I wore a simple white dress with dark blue tights and white shoes.
But because it still isn't too warm outside I added the Angelic Pretty parka to the outfit.

Enjoy~

My fashion evolution

Oh well... I actually have a list of things I want to write about, but this seemed a bit more interesting to me at the moment.

Anyways... I wanted to write about how my style changed through all these years and how I even ended up in this crazy Japanese color world.

But lets start at the very beggining, shall we?

Umm when I was 12, I probably started to differ myself from other people. I wasn't really popular and didn't really have many friends (I was an annoying child). I kinda managed to devolop this kinda dark style (that didn't really fit me in any way).  I was bad at combining clothes wich made my social life even harder. And I am not even sure I have any photos from that time and even if I had I am not sure if I would show them.

But well I was a big anime fan and cartoons also got me to the world of internet where I discovered these varius Japanese styles such as Visual Kei, Decora, Lolita ...

At the age of 14 I couldn't really do anything with these styles. I tried finding similiar clothes in stores and my closet got all filled up with black clothes that I called Visual Kei (but they were not even close).

But of course high school changes people. I got some cool friends, learned how to be sociable and of course I changed my fashion style. In second year I suddenly became obsessed with colors and cute things. Now at that time my closet was filled with black, black and more black. And that year I more or less spent all the money I had for new clothes that would fit my new fashion taste.

Well high school was coming to an end, everyone started learning a lot and worrying about uni. But I spent more time finding my inner self?

I changed my group of friends (again)... and I have to say I do not regret my decisions. This was the year I opened up. I learned so many new things, started to go out more and changed my style again. I still stayed with cute but added a tiny bit of elegant to it. I started do differ every day and extreme.

But I also changed my hair color, lost weight...(thank god!).

Somewhere around that time I also started developing this big love for Lolita fashion. But I tried keeping it apart from my everyday school life.

You could say I went from ita to Lolita really fast. I bought many new dresses that year. At first cheap ones from eBay, but then I moved to Bodyline and now I am filling my wardrobe with more and more brand.

I still avoid wearing Lolita to school, because I am simply too scared for my dresses. My casual clothes consist of more vintage pieces that have a cute tuch to it.

Well that is more or less it. I hope you enjoed this blog post and more are soon to come~

Color lense review - GEO Angel blue

Hello little pink angels~

I recently got new color contact lenses, hooray. And I thought about writing a review.

I got my lenses from eyecandy's. They are an online shop specialized in Korean colored circle lenses.  They have varius colors and sizes that you can choose from.

The model I have are GEO Angel Blue.

Here you have some basic information that is also provided on their site:

Brand: GEO
Origin: South Korea
Water content: 38%%
Diameter: 14.0 mm
Duration: 1 year disposable

I am in love with these lenses. Their diameter isn't that large, but they still give that dolly effect. Of course if it isn't enough for you they have the same model with a 14.8 mm diameter.  They only thing I have to mention is that they actually make my eyes look darker which in this case isn't that bad.

Here is a photo where you can see the comparison with (left side) and witout (right side) the lenses:

I don't really have much to add here. The lenses are really nice, they came in a cute package, they were shipped off really fast...

So my overall experience with the site and the product can definitely be rated 5/5.
Thank you for reading~

Flower Nymph

Hello you little flower lovers~

Two weeks ago I started making a flower nymph themed costume. And here you can see the final product of my hard work.

Of course I have to thank my wonderful photographer and boyfriend for this amazing shot.

Well anyways...
For the flower crown I used fake flowers that I got at a local Chinese store and used some wire to tie them together. I also used some sintetic green strings as fake grass and to decorate the inner circle of the crown.

I also did my own makeup. I stayed away from any kind ob black eyeliner, because I wanted to achieve a more innocent and natural look. I also overdid the redness of my cheeks and added the little flower petals as decoration to brighten the whole look up.

I wore this costume to school today, because we have a special "holiday", similar to Halloween, where we can all dress up in various costumes to scare away the winter and bring spring.

Here you have two phone selfies from today:

Here is me with my friend, Little Red Riding Hood, who is also an amazing artist~

Cute food idea~

This is what I ate today! Fried pineapple with strawberry ice cream! <3
I hope you like the picture that came out btw.

This dish isn’t really that hard to make…
You need:

Pineapple
Honey
Brown sugar
Lemon juice
Butter
Strawberry ice cream

First you mix the honey, brown sugar and lemon juice into a creamymixture and warm it up just a little bit so it becomes liquid.

Then you take a little butter and put it into the frying pan, you warm everything up and put in slices of the pineapple. You lower the fire and add some of the honey-lemon mixture and leave it on the fire for some more minutes.

Then you just have to take the pineapple slices out and serve them with some ice cream. <3

Enjoy~

Bodyline l513 dress review

Bodyline dress review!
This is my newest lolita dress that I bought on Bodyline and I have to say it is simply amazing. They did a really good job on this one and improved some of the parts that were not so good on their previous dresses.
To start off, the fabric they used on this dress is a bit better compared to the Squirrel party dress, but it still can’t be compared to actual brands. But I don’t really mind that. :3
The print is nice as always. Bodyline really does a good job with the prints! ^u^

What improved most is their lace. They are well known for their bad lace, but the lace on this dress is actually quite nice. It had cute little details and well, it just didn’t look like it was porly cut off a curtain and just sewed on the dress.

It also has these cuutee rose shaped buttons that look very nice. >u<

You can see me wearing this dress:

Things to do in Tokyo

Hey guys! I actually spent one month in Japan last year and I wanted to share some of my experiences. This isn't much, but I hope you will enjoy reading~

The time I have spent in Japan I noticed that it can never be boring. There is just too much going on. So how did I spend time? These are just a few examples of the most popular things to do with friends in Tokyo:

So many people!

Shooping

There are just sooo many stores in Tokyo. We did most of our shooping in Akihabara and I already did quite a few blog posts about it, but we also went to Shibuya and Harajuko for some clothes shooping. It is just amazing how many stores you can find and the stores are very large and have a big choice of clothes.

On the streets of Harajuku I also found the store called Bodyline that I am very familiar with. It was a quite popular store, there were so many people buying lolita styled clothes there.

Bodyline entrance

They had a very big choice of clothes and it felt very good to examine the clothes before buying them (you do not really get that chance on the web store). XD

Taking pictures was forbidden, but Dejan just couldn't resist and secretly took some. Enjoy!

They have so many lolita dresses!

Cosplay section, with many schoolgirl uniforms.

Game centers

You can find many game centers in Tokyo and they are always crowded with Japanese gamers. There is always something to do there and for me one of the best places to be. Every one can find an arcade game that is fitting for them.

I mostly try out the UFO machines (the ones for pulling prizes out). They are very easy to use and you can always get something out. Also the staff is very friendly, if they see you having a hard time getting a prize out they help out a bit (but do not tell anyone). :P

Beside the UFO machines...
The thing I enjoyed most was the Miku Hatsune Project Diva arcade game. It is like the best game ever and also very popular in Japan!

Geek geek geek geek.... LOL

Photo bot machines

In the game centers there are not only UFO machines and arcade games but also photo both machines. So if you ever go to Japan, grab you friends and go take some photos.

The Japanese photo both machines are so much fun. You can find several different ones around Akihabara and they are very popular among yunger people.

You just pay 400 yen and you and your friends can take some photos. You can chose from so many different  styles and themes and then the photographing begins. In the end you just add some cute decorations and print!
You can also send the picture to your phone, but currently not many support our phones so it is good to have a Japanese friend with you. :3

Bodyline squirel party dress!

This was my first real lolita dress! ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ
Bodyline squirel party dress!
I love this dress, but well it isn’t as good as the brands are. The fabric is a bit cheaper and the lace is kinda strange. But I think bodyline seels some really great dresses. And it isn’t that expensive… Their print is also very nice, but sometimes the colors are a bit off. o___o
