Hey guys! I actually spent one month in Japan last year and I wanted to share some of my experiences. This isn't much, but I hope you will enjoy reading~
The time I have spent in Japan I noticed that it can never be boring. There is just too much going on. So how did I spend time? These are just a few examples of the most popular things to do with friends in Tokyo:
So many people!
Shooping
There are just sooo many stores in Tokyo. We did most of our shooping in Akihabara and I already did quite a few blog posts about it, but we also went to Shibuya and Harajuko for some clothes shooping. It is just amazing how many stores you can find and the stores are very large and have a big choice of clothes.
On the streets of Harajuku I also found the store called Bodyline that I am very familiar with. It was a quite popular store, there were so many people buying lolita styled clothes there.
Bodyline entrance
They had a very big choice of clothes and it felt very good to examine the clothes before buying them (you do not really get that chance on the web store). XD
Taking pictures was forbidden, but Dejan just couldn't resist and secretly took some. Enjoy!
They have so many lolita dresses!
Cosplay section, with many schoolgirl uniforms.
You can find many game centers in Tokyo and they are always crowded with Japanese gamers. There is always something to do there and for me one of the best places to be. Every one can find an arcade game that is fitting for them.
I mostly try out the UFO machines (the ones for pulling prizes out). They are very easy to use and you can always get something out. Also the staff is very friendly, if they see you having a hard time getting a prize out they help out a bit (but do not tell anyone). :P
Beside the UFO machines...
The thing I enjoyed most was the Miku Hatsune Project Diva arcade game. It is like the best game ever and also very popular in Japan!
Geek geek geek geek.... LOL
Photo bot machines
In the game centers there are not only UFO machines and arcade games but also photo both machines. So if you ever go to Japan, grab you friends and go take some photos.
The Japanese photo both machines are so much fun. You can find several different ones around Akihabara and they are very popular among yunger people.
You just pay 400 yen and you and your friends can take some photos. You can chose from so many different styles and themes and then the photographing begins. In the end you just add some cute decorations and print!
You can also send the picture to your phone, but currently not many support our phones so it is good to have a Japanese friend with you. :3
